Sitrin is a "learn-through-play" child care center and holds the philosophy that children learn best by playing and discovering the world around them. Throughout the day, children partake in hands-on, age-appropriate activities that encourage erudition, imagination, and exploration. A Kindergarten-readiness curriculum is presented through classroom lessons, interactive play, monthly themes, and goals.
Licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Bureau of Early Childhood Services, the Sitrin Child Care Center offers a total of 64 full-time slots for children ranging in age from six weeks to five years. At all times, a Pediatric CPR and First Aid-trained staff member is available for the safety of the children. Staff also receive extensive training in various topics within a licensing period. The Center is open year-round, Monday through Friday.
